Soft round shapes with a hollowed centre were inspired by beautiful South Island pebbles and their surface. Thrown on the wheel the form is centered around the middle point and expresses equilibrium and stillness. The inner hollow can be used to hold a candle light or flower. If they are placed outdoors they fill up with water, reflecting the light but still showing the depths of the centre hole of the sculpture.
